This week we traveled south to Waldorf to swim against the Bannister Barracudas. Despite the long trip and a reduced attendance due to conflicts and illnesses, the Dolphins prevailed over the Barracudas by the score of 301 to 144. Full results are available on the season results page A very blue dayHelping us to the win were six Dolphins bringing home the blue ribbon for all three of their individual events: William Congdon Sydney Hammond Sophia Jones Xavier Bailey Bella Willis Taariq Ndiaye Leah Smith of BNS also deserves accolades for the same feat. Next up...NorthridgeThe next and final two meets of the regular season are at home at NCR, with the Northridge Swim Team traveling from Bowie to take on our Dolphins. Lets cheer on our swimmers to another win!
So, we were supposed to be on the road again swimming against Takoma Park in DC. But, circumstances led to the meet being held at NCR...so we swam away...at home! It was a hot day, but our NCR Dolphins wouldn't let the "home" team win in our home pool! NCR took the win! NCR: 296 TP; 241 Complete results can be found on the 2025 result page. The first meet of the 2025 season is a wrap. Your NCR Dolphins took the show on the road this week to Russett Community Center a short ride up the BWI Parkway. It was a close for much of the meet, but the Russett Sharks edged the Dolphins out with a score of 295 to 257. Full results have been posted.
Three swimmers took triple-blue at the meet, two Sharks and a Dolphin: Juliana Rios and Zachary Markovitz of Russett and our own Arianna Biondi. Congratulations! We're on the road again next week, traveling to the District to meet the Takoma Park Allstars. Come out to cheer on your Dolphins! |
