So, the PMSL All Star week was a whirlwind and somehow the information about our divisional meet got left in the dust. BUT, despite the lack of a timely post on the subject, your NCR Dolphins competed well. They took fourth in the meet itself, edge out of third by just 4 points (and less than 20 points from 2nd!) Needless to say, it was a close meet between the 6 teams in Division D. Full results are available on our 2026 Meet Results page Records Smashed! (No, not vinyl) The Divisional Meet saw 5 NCR swimmers take both Team and Pool bulkhead records! Emma Biondi:
This week was the All Star MeetYes, there is another meet to mention...
Your NCR Dolphins had a very respectable showing at the PMSL All Star meet. There were seven swimmers who competed in 12 individual events. There were more Dolphins who competed in 3 relay events. The Dolphins also had a number of swimmers qualify as alternates (though, none had the opportunity to swim at the meet). Every one of them deserves a hearty congratulations in recognition of their accomplishments! Your All Star Swimmers: Brendan Bailey, Gabriel Bailey, Xavier Bailey, Emma Biondi, Yancarlos Diaz, Mabel Fisher, Ariana Fromel, Sophia Jones, Bryson Langhorne, Jacob Malomo, Merida Mendoza, Aasim Ndiaye, Jameela Ndiaye, Victoria Patton, Patrick Willis, J.J. Willis, and Bella Willis Full results for the All Star meet are posted on the PrinceMont website. The Waves of Westlake visited NCR today and when all was said and done, bested your Dolphins by one point. Much of the meet had NCR down by as many as 25 points, but the mighty Dolphins battled back - even taking a 3 point lead after our 8 and under mixed relay swam uncontested! The final score, WOW: 278, NCR: 277.
Complete results are on our 2026 Meet Results page. As a testament to how hard they fought, four NCR swimmers took home Triple Blue!: Arianna Fromel, Gabriel Bailey, Emma Biondi and Mabel Fisher. Only Rafa Borders achieved the same feat for WOW. That's a wrap for the regular season. The NCR Dolphins finish their first season in Division D since 2011 with a record of 3 wins to 2 losses. (and oh, so close to 4 and 1!) What a great 5 weeks it's been! Next week we host the Division D Divisional Meet, where ALL six teams in the division compete to see who takes home the title. Today marks our nations 250th year. Let that sink in for a minute...
It also was another PMSL Saturday, so your NCR Dolphins were swimming hard after traveling far for an away meet. Our opponent, the Smallwood Village Association Marlins, reside in Waldorf 45 minutes south.... While it was an earlier than normal wake-up call for the Dolphins, that didn't keep them from bringing their best! Even our national bird came to see the action - nothing like swimming on the 4th of July under the watchful eye of a Bald Eagle! NCR gave quite the show, defeating the Marlins by the score of 300 to 224! Full results are on our 2026 Meet Results page. Red, White and Triple Blue! Two SVA swimmers (Ashton Stapleson and McKenzie Risden) and four(!!!!) NCR swimmers (Jameelah Ndiaye, Ariana Fromel, Arianna Biondi, and Gabriel Bailey) worked extra hard today and took first in all three of their individual events. Next week we are back in the home pool, with our final dual meet of the season versus the Westlake Village Swim Team. In the meantime, let's celebrate our 3-1 NCR Dolphins! |
