​The people who run your swim team are individuals that are parents of swimmers/ex-swimmers . Because we do not currently have By-Laws, the Board is not elected, but either appointed or done voluntarily. Still, these members have your best interest at heart, and your swimmers. All Board members will meet once a year (minimum) and set direction, dates and coaches for the upcoming year as well as help set a budget for the team.
 
Below are the Executive Board positions and a brief description of their responsibilities. The Head Coach is also on the Board (see separate section for Coaches).

President
The President of the NCR Dolphins is responsible to run the organization, set yearly agenda, call and run all meetings, provide guidance to parents, board members and coaches and to generally provide information concerning the team to the Communications Director for export to the web or via email.
 
League Representative
This member represents the team to the PrinceMont Swim League, participating in all league functions/meetings as relates to the team. The Team Rep attempts to land Divisionals for our team every year and is primarily responsible for securing as many home meets as possible during the dual meet season. The Team Rep is also responsible for ensuring the coach knows of any new rules instituted or adapted or changed by PrinceMont. Is also the Divisionals Chair if we procure that event for the season.
 
Treasurer
Is responsible for handling all monies directed to the team, paying all bills, providing change for concessions/weekend cooking, depositing money into bank account, writing checks and provide a yearly accounting of all income and expenditures to the Board and at the Parents Meeting (via Treasurer's Report).

Meet Manager
Responsible for handling all dual, divisional, relay and fun meets, including Set-Up and Take-Down, coordinating with Referee for Timers and other officials, making sure facilities are in order to run a meet, sets any exclusion zones at the pool, responsible for filling pool and correct procedure for stopping pumps when meet is about to begin. Coordinates with coach and other team(s) for additional heats of swimmers. 
  
Data Manager
Must be Hy-Tek certified (program used to produce times by swimmers). Responsible for all data sheets before during and after a meet, set lineup in Hy-Tek, produce results for other team and coaching staff, send results to PrinceMont for dissemination. If NCR is Divisionals home, becomes Division Data Manager, and is responsible for all data within division.
 
Communication/Webmaster
Primarily responsible for information on the website and emails to parents, coaching staff and swimmers. Information should be current on website, and provide up-to-date schedule for the team, as well as information to be used by other teams within the division.
