Yesterday's PMSL All Star Meet brought to a close competitive swimming for the 2019 season. By all accounts, NCR shined as hosts of the meet! Congratulations and a huge Thank You! to all who helped make the event such a success.
The league made the results available. Of particular note are our NCR Dolphin All-Star Swimmers: Sophia Jones 13th in the 10 & Under Girls Butterfly 13th in the 9-10 Girls Freestyle 17th in the 9-10 Girls Breaststroke Jacob Malomo 7th in the 8 & Under Boys Freestyle 17th in the 8 & Under Boys Backstroke Patrick Willis 17th in the 9-10 Boys Freestyle 16th in the 9-10 Boys Backstroke Olivia Hawkins 18th in the Girls 15-18 Freestyle Caroline Baldwin 18th in the Girls 9-10 Backstroke As this meet was only the second time the bulkhead was set up for a 25 yard distance, there were 49 pool records set! Nine of them were league records! The meets may be over, but there's more NCR Dolphin fun to come! Don't miss out on our Sandy Point trip on Saturday August 17th, and the Annual Awards Banquet. Details for both of these events will be coming soon. It was a HOT day with heated competition and your NCR Dolphins pulled of second place for the meet AND second place in the division!

At 4 and 1, your NCR Dolphins are in position to win the division. Competition next week will be tough, so we need to keep practicing - no time to slack off! We pulled off a win for our first away meet of the 2019 season! Our NCR Dolphins bested the Prince Georges Council Aqua Knights 272 to 253. It was a close meet, with PGC in the lead for most of the morning, but the Dolphins wouldn't be deterred!
